Soccer Tournaments in Ohio

The most popular months of the year for soccer tournaments in Ohio are between March and the beginning of August, when, for older players, the

school season begins. However, for teams looking for a Thanksgiving tournament, Ohio does have much to offer in November.

Popular Ohio-based tournaments include the Blue Chip college showcase tournament, held every April, and the CUSA Mead Cup, which takes place every Labor Day weekend and draws the best U9-U14 teams to Centerville.

In a state that is split between north and south, there are several large clubs including Ohio Premier, Ohio Thunder, Ohio FC and Internationals. On the professional soccer front, the Columbus Crew play in MLS and the side’s stadium is a regular venue for USA national team games.
