Vila de Blanes Futbol Playa

Now in its fifth year, the Vila de Blanes Futbol Playa is a beach soccer tournament for adult male teams aged U16 and up.

Beach soccer is on the rise in Spain and this event now attracts more and more teams from all over the country, who join those from other nations to compete in the International Tournament Trofeo Vila de Blanes.

The games are played in a 5-a-side format with each game being divided into three 10-minute periods.

Beach soccer is a very strenuous, high-tempo version of the game with lots of scoring. Teams that can play the ball well through the air have a better chance of succeeding since dribbling on sand is not really an option.

Besides the soccer, teams and fans can enjoy a wide range of facilities, and a great choice of entertainment options and night life.
