Vallarta Classic

The Vallarta Classic is an adult soccer tournament that takes place in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico each November.

In addition to teams that travel from the US, local men's teams participate in the tournament along with the Mexican Navy who play the co-ed teams in a friendly match up.

Promoted as "the most fun you've ever had playing soccer..." the tournament features an emphasis on vacation, family and fun. Many of the participating teams arrive early, or extend their stays for a few days after the tournament in order to fit in all of the other activities Puerto Vallarta has to offer.

The tournament is staffed and refereed by locals, and teams are enuraged to bring gently used children's soccer gear for the many kids that come to watch the games.

After the tournament is over, there is a BBQ Party on Sunday at a ranch in the hills, out in the countryside that surrounds Puerto Vallarta.
