Tossa Cup
The Tossa Cup soccer tournament, got its name from the twelfth century fishing village of Tossa de Mar where it was first played a number of years ago. Having long since outgrown its origins, the tournament now takes place in and around the popular Mediterranean resorts of Blanes, Lloret de Mar, Malgrat and Santa Susanna. The fields are all close enough to one another (a 15-30 minute drive) that it does not diminish the tournament experience at all. Some of the fields are of the grass variety, while others are 3G artificial turf. Players should note that metal cleats are not allowed on any of the pitches, either grass or turf. All tournament fields include locker room facilities and a cafeteria.
For those looking for a little more action, the closest big city is Barcelona, which is about 45 minutes away. The Camp Nou, home field of the famous FC Barcelona is just one of many places of interest there.
