Torneo Cittá della Pace

For almost a quarter of a century, the Trofeo Città della Pace soccer tournament has been bringing teams from Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland and the United States to the ancient fortress town of Rovereto in northeast Italy.

Up to 40 teams take part in the tournament, playing on ten different grass fields at various locations within a six mile radius of Rovereto.

The main stadium is 'Quercia' in Rovereto, which has seating for over 2,000 people, and forms the focal point of the tournament.

Here the youngest groups play their preliminary games and on Sunday most of the divisional finals are played here as well.
