Sand Soccer Showdown

The Sand Soccer Showdown is a one-day sand soccer tournament co-hosted by Soccer in the Sand and the Hands on Sports Foundation. It is one of fifteen beach soccer tournaments in eight states that Soccer in the Sand runs throughout the country.

Games are played at Headlands Beach State Park in Painesville, OH, just outside Cleveland.

Games are 4v4 plus goalkeepers (5v5) and will consist of two 12 minute halves with a 2 minute halftime. All teams are guaranteed three group stage games with the chance of more if they advance to the semifinals and finals.

Beach Soccer is gaining in popularity each year and, with smaller field size and unpredictable surface, offers fun, excitement, and plenty of scoring.

Soccer in the Sand leads the way hosting more beach tournaments than any other sand soccer organizers.
