Poorly Organized

(Tulare)

They charged $5 to park in dirt with no parking lot circulation. We followed several cars to a "dead end" and then all of us had to back all the way out.

Our team played on different sized fields. We had "makeshift" goals in one of our games that were far smaller than regulation for our age group.

We were not provided Assistant Referees in two of our games. In one of our games, the Center Referee was the Head Coach from another team in the same age group and jurisdiction we were playing, which the rules state is not permitted.

It took 1 hour and 20 minutes to get a sandwich from the concession stand (with 9 people ahead of us).

Beer cans along the periphery chain link fence (inside the soccer park) added a bit of a bonus for the tournament. It made the parents wish they had alcohol to forget about the event.

It was bad

My 10 year old son asked me if this is how all the tournaments were going to be like. I told him (I presumed) that the tournament didn't have enough people helping and others would be better. He said "I hope so, cause I don't want to play if they're like this" A 10 year old noticing problems? Shame.
