NEFC Preseason Tournament and College Showcase

Now in its third year, the NEFC Preseason Tournament and College Showcase is a youth soccer tournament that takes place just before the start of the Spring season.

The tournament is hosted by one of New England's largest premier clubs and features some of the region's top youth teams. In its first two years, the tournament attracted teams from all over New England, as well as New York, New Jersey, and Canada.

All games take place on synthetic surfaces, which is a good thing since weather in New England at that time of year can be an issue.

The college showcase part of the event takes place in a region surrounded by some of the finest colleges in the country, and programs in the New York and New Jersey regions are easily within driving distance. In 2011, over 150 Men's and Women's programs were represented.

College showcase teams play three 70-minute games over the course of three days.
