With two full weekends of competition, one for boys' teams and one for girls, this tournament typically attracts almost 600 teams from seven different states, as well as Canada. Games are played at the Optimist Soccer Complex in Fairfield, Ohio, about 30 minutes north of Cincinnati.

Each team is guaranteed a minimum of three games with divisions tiered so as to group teams of similar competitive level wherever possible.

Teams are selected based on their level of play within their bracket and on the timeliness of the application, so interested teams are encouraged to apply early.
