Lou Ramos Classic
The Lou Ramos Classic is dedicated to the memory of Lou Ramos, the founder of the Lehigh Valley United organization who passed away in January of 2008. The tournament is a natural outgrowth of a club philosophy that develops high quality soccer players who love the game and encourages winning attitudes in an atmosphere of fair play and hard work The tournament is held in the Greater Lehigh Valley over Labor Day weekend, and is centered around the Lehigh County Sports Fields Complex in Allentown, PA, one of the finest soccer complexes in Pennsylvania. The complex offers six full-sized fields and three youth fields, as well as a location that close to a number of local attractions, including Dorney Park amusement park, Wehr’s Dam - Covered Bridge Park and Haines Mills Fields. All teams are guaranteed three games and three referees for full-sided games. The tournament was the highest rated Labor Day Tournament in 2008 by gotsoccer.com
