Kick-or-Treat

Now in its second year, the National Sports Center's Halloween kick-or-treat is a non-sanctioned 5-a-side soccer tournament that accepts all teams, including club, intraclub, tournament teams or even just a group of friends who want to play.

Although the event takes place over three days of Halloween weekend, each participating team plays all of their games in a single day.

Games are played on artificial turf fields approximately 30x55 yards.

The competitiont is conducted as one open flight with age groups combined, U9/10, U11/12, U13/14. Depending on total number of teams in identified age divisions, the tournament may break age divisions into single age groups.

Divisions are expected to fill quickly and teams are accepted on first come, first served basis so interested teams are encouraged to apply early to avoid disappointment.

This is a "stay to play" tournament, which means that visiting teams are required to stay in hotels that are approved by the tournament organizers as a condition of participation. This may require merely booking rooms at one of the designated hotels, or it may require booking them specifically through the tournament's own designated housing service.
