First round play takes place on Saturday in groups of 4 or 5 teams. All teams then progress to second round play in either higher or lower divisions depending on the standings in first round play.
Besides soccer, a trip to Haarlem offers visiting soccer families plenty of things to do. The Efteling theme park is always popular, as is a trip to nearby Amsterdam and the Van Gogh Museum, a boat tour of Amsterdam's canals and a tour of Ajax Stadium and museum.
