Things to do in the Area Labor Day Weekend is a terrific time to be in the St. Louis area, with numerous attractions for visiting soccer families besides just the Gallagher Friendlies. The St. Louis County Fair and Air Show takes place on the fairgrounds at Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield, MO. The fair has been a Labor Day tradition in these parts for over 15 years and is certainly worth checking out between games.Sports lovers can choose between Cardinals Baseball, Missouri Football, or NASCAR, depending on team and event schedules. Or perhaps try the Cardinals Hall of Fame Museum and International Bowling Hall of Fame. Of course, no trip to St. Louis would be complete without a trip to the Gateway Arch, which also houses the Museum of Westward Expansion. And finally, the home of Budweiser and the Busch family that founded the famous brewery offers tours of the Brewery and clydesdale stables, as well as trips to Grant's farm, the Busch family's ancestral home, which Zagats ranks as the seventh best family attraction in the US.
