Essex United Soccer Tournament

The Essex United Tournament and Shootout is held each year near the end of June at the scenic and spacious Essex Tree Farm Facility in beautiful Essex, Vermont.

In the past, Essex United has donated their old jerseys to Batey Libertad, an impoverished community in the Dominican Republic and worked with US Soccer's Passback Program (www.passback.org) to collect new and gently used soccer gear to again donate to the Batey Libertad Coalition.

The event can be a way for other clubs to pitch in if they like by donating to this organization, which is based at the University of Vermont and works to strengthen the community of Batey Libertad and surrounding communities in the Dominican Republic through the sport of soccer.
