Edgar Sanchez Memorial Classic

The Edgar Sanchez Memorial Classic is a two-day 5v5 soccer tournament for competitive and recreational youth and adult teams.

The tournament is hosted by the Edgar Sanchez Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, created in the memory of Edgar Sanchez, which offers financial assistance to cancer patients who do not have health insurance and can not afford the high costs of treatments.

The tournament is open to all teams from ages U9 to adults with teams consisting of a maximum of eight rostered players. Games take place at Niles West High School in Skokie, Illinois.

Each participating team is guaranteed at least three games and prizes are awarded for first, second and third placed teams. All participants receive a commemorative t-shirt.
