The event typically attracts more than 160 teams from Dutchess, Putnam, Orange, Westchester and Albany Counties, along with many teams from Long Island, New York City, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Each bracket completes in a single day. All teams are guaranteed three 50-minute games. Up to three guest players are allowed. A three referee system is used for U12 and older games.

The level of competition has grown immensely over the years. However there are flights within each age bracket so that teams can be placed according to their appropriate competitive level.
