Now in its 15th year, the Dillsburg Dual Shootout Soccer Tournament takes place over Columbus Day weekend in and around the Dillsburg area of Central Pennsylvania.
The Tournament's World Cup format features two rounds of play. For the qualification round, teams are randomly placed into four team pools for a round-robin tournament format during which each team plays three 20-minute games. Teams are awarded points based on their wins, losses, and ties. Total points earned are used to seed the teams into eight team divisions for the championship round of play.
The eight team division brackets then play a double-elimination tournament format to determine the Division Champion. All teams get to play at least three Championship round games. At this stage, all games are 40-minutes and drawn matches are decided by the Dillsburg Dual Shootout format.
