Dana Cup
The Dana Cup in one of Europe’s top international youth soccer tournaments, featuring over 850 teams from 45 different nations. The 2008 event will take place from the 21st to the 26th of July, 2008.
Over the 26 years that the tournament has been running more than half a million participants from 100 nations have participated, making it Denmark’s largest sporting event and the worlds third largest youth soccer tournament.
Dana Cup has a unique international atmosphere and takes place in a secure area in one of the most beautiful part of Denmark. The event uses over 50 grassed soccer fields, so the tournament can be played at the highest level.
From the moment teams arrive, either by ferry, plane or train, Dana Cup´s special transportation system takes care of getting players, coaches and parents to their games on time.
All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 4 games and have the opportunity to test themselves in international competition, as well as experience wonderful cultural experiences in a truly unique setting.
