Czech Budweis Cup

In the 13 years since its inception, the Czech Budweis Cup has grown into largest summer soccer tournament in the Czech Republic, and one of the most prestigious in Central Europe.

Up to 100 teams from such countries as Austria, Belgium, Britain, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Spain and the United States typically enter.

This wide array of international teams guarantees an attractive competition and truly acts as a meeting point for teams from both east and west.

Games are played at ten different sports facilities, all located within five to eight miles of Ceske Budejovice, with the finals, and a prize giving-ceremony held in the intimate stadium of Borek about 3 miles north of town.

While all locations have facilities such as dressing rooms and a small buffet for drinks and snacks, participating teams should be aware that the facilities are basic according to western European and US standards.

Ceske Budìjovice (Budweis) is a pleasant, picturesque provincial town close to the German-Austrian border, and the hospitable Czechs make sure that all visiting soccer families feel at home and have a wonderful time.
