Copa Catalunya

The eighth edition of the Copa Catalunya soccer tournament takes in Tordera (just outside the seaside resort of Blanes) between Lloret de Mar in the north and Calella in the south.

The entire area has been a magnet for literally thousands of soccer teams from all across Europe for a number of years, offering them a chance to combine the experience of an international soccer tournament a fun vacation.

The event typically attracts up to 120 teams, mostly from Western European countries like Belgium, Spain, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands and Norway.

Games are played at a wonderful sports facility that has up to 13 well manicured grass fields, as well as eighteen well-equipped locker rooms, a bar and cafeteria, and a covered area to protect players from the hot sun.

It is by far the largest sporting complex in Spain.
