Carlsbad Cup A Disappointing Tournament!!

Hello, I am the Team Manager of the Poway Vaqueros BOYS U9Green team. We showed up ready for fantastic Soccer Weekend in the Beautiful City of Carlsbad. Unfortunately, that's not what we received.

For the $575 tournament fee, one would expect proper referee coverage. There was only 1 ref (no assistants/linesman) allocated for all games played in our bracket, including Semi-Finals and Finals.

The fields were set up so that coaches for both teams were side by side with little to no separation. Additionally, parents were bunched together with no home or away side or separation.

All of this is a recipe for disaster and that's exactly what the tournament was.

What's more, the field where our games were played had no restrooms and no vendors.
