If you plan on seeing some of these attractions, you can save on admissions with a Go Boston Card.

Although it's billed as Go Boston, a number of the attractions are on the Cape, including Heritage Plantation and the Glass Museum.

Check out our Cape Cod deals page that explains how the cards work and how much you can save with a little bit of planning ahead.

Millions of tourists every year will tell you that there is no shortage of things for visiting families to do on Cape Cod, whatever time of year you visit.

Walks on the beach and hikes or bike rides on any of the area's numerous trails are a terrific distraction in between games or after tournament play is over. In Hyannis there is plenty of shopping, the JFK museum and a nice harbor from where ferries can take visitors to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard.

For the soccer family that is more into big city attractions, Boston is about a ninety minute drive away.
