Cape Cod Challenge Cup

The Cape Cod Challenge Cup Tournament is hosted by the Sandwich Soccer Club over Memorial Day weekend.

Up to two hundred teams from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, and New York participate in the tournament, enjoying exciting and competitive soccer, on well maintained fields, and all in a great place, Cape Cod!

Age group divisions from U9 to U16 (girls and boys) at Premier and Open A or B Divisions. U9 and U10 play 8 v 8, with a minimum of 4 games guaranteed, and trophies for all players who participate.

U11 and U12 also play 8 v 8. U13 and above play 11 v 11. These groups will have a minimum of 3 games guaranteed, and playoff rounds with trophies for 1st and 2nd place within each division.

Tournament places usually fill up quickly so organizers advise teams to apply early to avoid disappointment. New this year is the ability to register and pay online.

Things To Do On Cape Cod

Cape Cod is one of the most desirable vacation destinations in all of New England, and offers plenty to do for the visting soccer family. From walks on the beach to hikes along any of the area's numerous trails. The town of Sandwich is very picturesque and has the Sandwich Glass Museum as its main attraction.

Further along the Cape in Hyannis there is plenty of shopping, the JFK museum and and a nice harbor from where ferries can take visitors to the islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard.

If your family is more into big city attractions, Boston is about an hour's drive away.
