Cancun Senior Cup

Now in its second year, the Cancun Senior Cup is organized for amateur teams from all around the world and is the first amateur football tournament of its kind in Mexico that caters to veteran teams in the over 40 and over 50 age groups.

With this tournament, organizers offer teams a chance to spend some wonderful vacation time Cancun with friends and family at the same time as taking part in a soccer tournament.

For this year's event, by popular request, age-groups have been modified slightly so that teams in the over 40 category can include up to three players aged 35-39 and teams in the over 50 group can include up to three players aged 45-49 (age considered as of December 31).

Cancun offers plenty for visiting soccer players to do besides just playing in the tournament. There are miles of Caribbean beaches, beautiful islands, tropical forests, fantastic hotels and tours to visit the archaelogical sites of Chichen Itza and Tulum, from the ancient Mayan civilization.
