Biased Time Keeping

by Soccermom

In a perfect world everyone would be treated equally. As soon as you open the WIN tournament guide and see all the Westport teams featured, you know that's not going to happen. Reffing was inconsistent and quite biased towards the "home" teams.

The worst of all was the time keepers who kept time on their cell phone clocks which were quite different from the actual clocks that were on the wall in the fieldhouse! My child was playing in the semi finals, and it was obvious that one of the time keepers had a child that was on the Westport team. The game was tied with 1 minute left (that is what we were told by the center ref.) Needless to say, that "minute" lasted over 5 minutes which was just enough time for the Westport team to score. We observed the team run over to the time keepers table and "high five" the woman keeping time. Our kids were really disheartened to see how open the home team was about cheating.

Will not be coming back again.
