The Beach Soccer Championships - Long Beach

The Beach Soccer Championships Long Beach is the second of two beach soccer tournaments tha are managed by Life Thru Sports (the other takes place in Oceanside, CA in May). The Long Beach tournament is hosted by the Beach Futbol Club and combines a day at the beach with sun, sand, surf and soccer.

This tournament offers a yerrific opportunity for teams either to begin their competitive seasons or wrap up for an already completed REC season. There is competition for every age and skill level.

In between youth games on the beach, teams can watch the professionals compete in the beach stadium for the US Open West Championship, a competition affiliated with the US Open Championship held in Virginia Beach each year at the North American Sand Soccer Championships.

There are also College and Military Divisions.

Trophies, medals and gifts are awarded in every age bracket and division. Teams from Nigeria, Canada, New Jersey, Arizona, New Mexico, and Virginia have played in this tournament over te years. Beacause of the great popularity of this tournament, organizers recommend that interested teams register well before the May 13th deadline.
