Bavaria Cup

The Bavaria Cup, though certainly not the largest of Europe's soccer tournaments, has nevertheless been a successful event ever since its inception in 1999.

32 teams from such places as Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, United States and Switzerland typically attend the event.

The games take place at a modern, multifunctional, sports complex in a woody suburb of Karlsfeld, about 6 miles northwest of Munich. The complex offer four beautiful grass fields, an athletics track, a sports hall, locker rooms and a clubhouse with bar and restaurant

Besides just soccer, visiting soccer families have an opportunity to get to know one of Germany's most beautiful cities. Munich is easily accessible by public transportation and offers an historic city center full of traditional Bavarian architecture, the lively Marienplatz, a world renowned brewery and the famous Olympic Stadium.
