Atlantic Cup

The Atlantic Cup is hosted by the Virginia Rush Soccer Club, sponsored by Nike, and is an elite youth tournament in the area. It's a terrific tournament to end the fall season.

Teams registered and paid for Atlantic Cup by October 8, 2011 will receive a $25 discount from the entry fee. The tournament will have both Premier and Classic flights. Flight placement is at the discretion of the tournament committee.

Up to five guest players are allowed for U9 to U19 age groups with teams obliged to follow the rules and procedures for guest players as provided by their own home state association or national affiliate.

It is an unrestricted tournament sanctioned by the Virginia Youth Soccer Assn. All US Youth State Association member teams, US Club Soccer teams, and other national affiliate teams may apply.

The tournament will be held on complexes throughout Virginia Beach, including the Hampton Roads Soccer Complex. All fields are within a 20 minute drive of designated tournament hotels.

Places to Stay in the Area

This is a "stay to play" tournament, which means that visiting teams are required to stay in hotels that are approved by the tournament organizers as a condition of participation. This may require merely booking rooms at one of the designated hotels, or it may require booking them specifically through the tournament's own designated housing service.
