Alpen Cup

Now in its 18th year, the Alpen Cup takes place each summer in the picturesque city of Wolfsberg, Austria, and attracts up to 50 teams from Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, and the United States.

The area is renowned for its excellent sporting facilities with many of the games being played at the festively decorated sports-park, a short walk from the center of town.

The main sports park has a modern stadium, four fields, a clubhouse, locker rooms with showers, bar and an Olympic swimming pool.

One of the host clubs, Wolfsberg AC, uses the facilities in the town center, while another host club, SC St. Stefan, has its own facility in the southern part of town. This one offers two additional grass fields, a club house and changing rooms with showers

All teams are guaranteed three games, which are played from Thursday through Saturday between the hours of 9:00am and 7:00pm. The finals are played on Saturday.
