Vermont to Host Free Youth Soccer ClinicBURLINGTON, Vt. – The University of Vermont men’s soccer team will conduct a free youth soccer clinic on Saturday, Sept. 8 in conjunction with the weekend’s 17th-annual Smith Barney Nike Soccer Classic. The clinic, which will be held at noon on UVM’s Centennial Field, will take place on the tournament’s off day. New Hampshire meets Michigan State and Vermont faces UMass on Friday then UNH takes on UMass and the Catamounts battle MSU on Sunday. Vermont head coach Jesse Cormier, his staff and members of the Catamounts will conduct the hour-long clinic for boys and girls aged 13 and younger. Children that attend the clinic will receive a free ticket to the second day of the Smith Barney Nike Soccer Classic.
