Though soccer tournaments in Vermont are not in great supply, those that do take place have much to offer in what is, after all, one of the most picturesque states in the country.

The dominant club in Vermont is Nordic Spirit, which is usually a fair bet to win half a dozen or more state titles in any given year. Nordic runs the popular Nordic Cup tournament in mid-June, which attracts teams from throughout New England, as well as New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia and Canada.

The majority of tournaments in Vermont take place in the middle months of the year, which allows visitors to tie in a few games on the field with some sightseeing.
