Soccer Tournaments in Rhode Island

Soccer tournaments in Rhode Island offer a variety that belies the state's status as the smallest state in the Union. The Ocean state has been host to the Region 1 tournament no fewer than four times in the last decade with the fantastic facilities at the University of Rhode Island in Kingston as the central location.

URI is also the home of the popular South County Seaside Classic, an event where the location of dozens of soccer fields within a few miles of some of New England's finest beaches makes it a terrific place to hold a soccer tournament.

As for tourist trips, how about the Newport Mansions, where millionaires of the industrial age built their magnificent summer homes on the cliff tops overlooking the Atlantic Ocean?

Providence is a fun city to visit, and either Boston or Cape Cod are each only an hour's drive from there.

Here, then, is our list of soccer tournaments in Rhode Island. Or, if you're looking for a specific event, you may want to try using our search function.
