Soccer by the Bay

Now in its fifth year, the Soccer by the Bay tournament is billed as the Largest Independent Youth Soccer Tournament in Northern California. The tournament is open to every team in the world, regardless of affiliation, and typicall attracts almost 300 teams.

The event is organized by the Soccer By The Bay Consortium, which comprises several San Francisco Peninsula clubs who have pooled the vast range of knowledge and experience they have built up offering separate successful tournaments in previous years.

The tournament is held over two weekends, with the highly competitive Gold Division taking place first and the Bronze division of travel, select and competitive teams taking place the following weekend.

Games take place at multiple locations throughout the cities of San Mateo, Redwood City and the surrounding towns.

All participating teams are guaranteed at least three matches (two on Saturday and one on Sunday) with the finals played on Sunday.
