Pikes Peak Invitational
The highly competitive Pikes Peak Invitational attracts teams from all over the United States. Run by the Colorado Rush, the event features complete web-based registration, as well as real-time scores posted on the web so that friends and families who do not accompany the teams can stay up to date!Four full-length games are guaranteed (weather permitting). College Preview: Ages U15-U19 play 7/14-7/16 with semi-finals and finals on 7/17. Rising Stars: U11-U14 play 7/17 -7/19 with semi-finals and finals on 7/20. League teams may add up to six guest players on their roster. Tournament teams are accepted.
The Pikes Peak Invitational is a one-site tournament. It uses 24 beautiful grass fields on three terraces at the US Air Force Academy, just north of Colorado Springs, which is an easy fly / drive from either Denver or Colorado Springs airports.
Things to doColorado Springs, which is located only 45 miles south of Denver, has a number of attractions for visitors, such as white-water river rafting, trips to the top of Pikes Peak, and beautiful Colorado mountain scenery which makes it an ideal place to combine soccer and a family vacation. |
