Piedmont Shootout

Now in its second year, the Piedmonth Shooutout soccer tournament is hosted by the Piedmont Youth Soccer League and typically attracts 65-70 teams to the brand new state-of-the-art Smith River Complex, which is thought to be one of the best facilities in the State of Virginia and the mid-Atlantic region.

All games are held at this one location, which has two synthetic turf fields and four Bermuda grass fields, all of which have lights. This single location, along with an experienced tournament management team, makes for an efficiently run event.

A special group package rates is offered for clubs and DOCs that bring multiple teams. New this year is easy online registration with the ability for teams to pay their registration fees by credit card.

This is not a "stay to play" tournament, which means that visiting teams can search around for the best hotel deals they can find.
