Mad Dog College Showcase

This year’s Mad Dog Mania College Showcase will take place on June 25th and 26th at Gavin Park in Saratoga Springs, NY. Ninety-nine U16 and U17, boys and girls teams will be accepted to the two-day event. Teams participate in four 55 minute games (two per day). All games are played at one facility on some of the finest fields in the Northeast.

Exposure to College Coaches

Approximately 120 college coaches were in attendance in 2010, with the number of college coaches steadily rising each year. Over the past eight years, hundreds of athletes and college coaches have been brought together as a result of the Mad Dog Mania Showcase Tournament.

Area Attractions

While visiting the area for the tournament, many teams take advantage of the beautiful region in which the event takes place. Saratoga Springs, Lake George and the Adirondack Mountain Region are all popular vacation destinations offering numerous attractions, beautiful scenery and a variety of shops and restaurants. The State Capital, rich with culture and history, is about a half hour to the south of the tournament location.

The Mad Dog Mania Showcase Tournament is an excellent exposure opportunity for high school athletes hoping to play college soccer. Many levels of college soccer teams (ranging from moderately to highly competitive) recruit at this event.

The tournament has been full for the past few years, with numerous teams being turned away. Early application will increase your team’s chances of being accepted and is strongly advised.
