The tournament is set up specifically for players who are looking for college scholarship opportunities. Player profile books are provided to all attending college coaches detailing all teams and all players.

Individual teams and players ahould complete their profiles online with SoccerinCollege.

In order create the most competitive divisions possible, teams are grouped according to past playing records using such factors as tournament results, state cup results, league playing division, USA Ranking service, SoccerinCollege and Gotsoccer rankings

In addition to providing free accommodation (limited) to attending college coaches, organizers also provide food and beverages throughout the weekend.
