Jefferson Cup for Boys

The Jefferson Cup is without doubt one of the biggest and most prestigious tournaments on the east coast. The tournament accepts over 600 teams from around North America, yet still has to turn down an average of 500 teams each year.

Part of the appeal is the high level of competition, since the tournament draws an average of 150 State Cup Champions, 50 Regional Champions and 5 National Champions a year throughout the nine age groups.

The Tournament is held at 13 different complexes around the Greater Richmond Area with the main facility being Striker Park, which some consider to be one of the country's top soccer complexes.

Around 200 college coaches per weekend scout the participants.
