Essex United Tournament

The 17th annual Essex United Tournament and Shootout will be held once again near the end of June at the scenic and spacious Essex Tree Farm Facility in beautiful Essex, Vermont.

In 2006, Essex United donated their old jerseys to Batey Libertad, an impoverished community in the Dominican Republic. Last year, the club worked with US Soccer's Passback Program (www.passback.org) to collect new and gently used soccer gear to again donate to the Batey Libertad Coalition. The Essex Tournament can be a way for other clubs to pitch in if they like by donating to this organization, which is based at the University of Vermont and works to strengthen the community of Batey Libertad and surrounding communities in the Dominican Republic through the sport of soccer.
