Colorado Showcase In 2006, the Colorado Showcase, premiere college showcase in the Rocky Mountain Region, hosted by Real Colorado, added a new division for U16-U17 boys and girls State Cup Finalists and ODP teams. As a result, the competition level rose sky high. For 2007, the age groups for this division will be extended to include U13, U14 and U15 teams. So far, 26 ODP teams from Region IV have already committed to play. In addition, the 2006 U16G National Champions, Real Colorado National, as well as the U13G, U14G, U15G, U13B, 2006 CO State Cup Champions, will play. With the expectation of 100 teams to be admitted for 2007, the tournament is filling fast. The other exciting news is that the Colorado Showcase will move into its new home at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, home of the Colorado Rapids of MLS. This brand new complex will have 24 fully-lit, full-sized fields, two of which are turf fields. The complex will be the largest professional soccer complex in the world, at the heart of which will be the Colorado Rapids brand new stadium, where all players and participants will have an opportunity to watch a Rapids game during Memorial Day Weekend. Vouchers for free tickets to the game will be included in every registration packet. With the 13th Real Colorado Cup being played the same weekend and in the same location, there is truly soccer for everyone during Memorial Day Weekend with Real Colorado!
