Coastal Summer Challenge

Now in its 26th year, the Coastal Summer Challenge is a youth and adult soccer tournament that is hosted by Seacoast United Maine and takes place every Father's Day weekend.

The tournament offers divisions for Classic and Premier teams in the U10 through U18 age groups.

Tournament headquarters is located on the campus of Bowdoin College, which has 12 beautifully manicured fields. Off-site fields (natural grass and artificial turf) are also utilized as necessary, all locations are within a few minutes drive of the Bowdoin campus.

One highlight of this year's event will be the inclusion of both NPSL (men) and WPSL (women) games that will be held in conjunction with the tournament. These are high-level collegiate and post-collegiate players that participants will have an opportunity to watch as part of the weekend activities.

This is a "stay to play" tournament, which means that visiting teams are required to stay in hotels that are approved by the tournament organizers as a condition of participation. This may require merely booking rooms at one of the designated hotels, or it may require booking them specifically through the tournament's own designated housing service.
