Blackpool Cup

Now in its 17th year, the Blackpool Cup has become one of the top soccer tournaments in England. The event typically attracts up to 160 teams from all over the United Kingdom, as well as Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, France, Ireland, Denmark and the Netherlands.

Soccer families come from all over Europe, not only to enjoy the international soccer atmosphere, but also the many attractions of one of England's most lively and poppular seaside resorts. The Pleasure Beach with its spectacular rollercoasters and the world famous Blackpool Tower is a must for visiting tourists.

Games are played on the fields of Blackpool Mechanics FC, as well as on on well used council fields in the southern part of town. Being owned by the council, these fields do receive considerable wear and tear throughout the season so teams should be aware that they might not be in perfect condition.
