Bakersfield Gunners Youth Cup
The Bakersfield Gunners Youth Cup is hosted by the Bakersfield Gunners Soccer Club, some of whose teams rank among the best in the state, and is one of the premier soccer tournaments in the area that caters just to younger teams. It is open to all club and recreational boys and girls teams under the age of 13, divided into recreational and competitive brackets.
While the older club teams are busy with State Cup, younger teams can enjoy this wonderful tournament in which all teams will play at least 3 games.
The event is held at Kern County Soccer Park in Bakersfield , CA, a 40+ acre complex that is one of the premier sports facilities on the West Coast. Facilities include 4 snack bars with restrooms, well-lit fields, comfortable headquarters and official's buildings equipped with telephones, internet access and a PA System.

have year-round events such as swap meets, car shows and various
entertainment. Another venue with a wide selection of
entertainment is the Historic
Fox Theater whose entertainment features everything from viewing
of movie classics to comedy and top class performers such as Patti Labelle,
James Brown and George Thorogood. For racing fans there are numerous
racetracks to choose from depending on whether you enjoy NHRA
drag racing, motorcycle or go-kart racing, there's a track for everyone. And
last but not least, for those of you who like gambling, visit the Golden West
Casino featuring Blackjack, Poker and Baccarat along with restaurants
and bars. If you

County including the Kern County
Museum
which is a restored Victorian Village
including an 1899 general store, one-room schoolhouse and a beautiful Queen Anne
Victorian home. Other

and the Minter Field Air
Museum.
